Obviously, everything on an ArtCar must be totally secure, but this goes double for a 50 lb. balcony railing and large pieces of 1950’s Cadillacs. Therefore redundant bracing is a must.
Also, for every hole in the roof there a bunch of silicon caulk covered with metal flashing (just like a house roof).
