My VW Bus for Gus didn’t last long, but I kept the back door. Someone wrote “Ours is the only generation that wonders why Dorothy left Oz” on my window in lipstick while I was in Gorky’s bar in LA. “Orgasms are Free” was graffiti I saw IN pasadena in the late 1980’s. My friend, Bobby, shows the door to my current pooch, Chewy.
The door, along with all the parts from the Buick of Unconditional Love, is going to Art Car World in Douglas, AZ in Dark Ride (pictured below), Scot Campbell’s amazing ArtCar. Scot is also known as Extremo the Clown, and is a fabulous artist.
